Tee Town Simulator ("the app") is made by Trejo DevCo LLC, a Texas company ("we"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the game works fully without an account, we don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
If you choose "Play offline", your course and progress are saved only on your device. Nothing is sent to us, except that the app may ask our server for the current date so seasonal events start and end on time. That request contains no personal information.
Accounts are optional and unlock online features (cloud backup, sharing courses, ratings, leaderboards and tournaments). When you sign in we collect:
We use this information only to run the game's features: to back up and restore your progress, to show shared courses, leaderboards and tournaments, and to keep the community safe (reviewing reports and removing content that breaks the rules).
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details; we only learn which items you unlocked.
If you enter a creator's code, we record which code you support and, for each purchase you choose to support them with, the product, its list price and Apple's transaction ID, so we can pay that creator their share. Creators only see totals (how many purchases and players used their code), never who you are.
If a friend invites you with their code, we record who invited whom and whether you reached the milestone that earns them their in-game reward. Your inviter sees your username in their friends list.
Tournament rounds keep your hole-by-hole scores so the top rounds can be checked for fairness. In tournaments with a real-world prize, you can confirm that you're 18 or older and live in the US; we store only that yes/no answer. If you win a physical prize, we'll ask you by email for your name, shipping address and confirmation of your age, and use them only to verify that you're eligible and to send the prize.
If the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a technical report (device model, iOS version, app version and what went wrong in the code) to Sentry, our crash-reporting service, so we can fix it. Crash reports don't include your name or email.
Online data is stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider, which processes it on our behalf. Crash reports are processed by Sentry. Apple (and Google, if you use Google sign-in) handle sign-in. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Reports may be kept for a limited time after they're resolved so we can deal with repeat abuse. Prize winners' details and records of creator payouts are kept as long as we need them for tax and business records.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Menu → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything online tied to it: cloud backups, shared courses with their ratings and leaderboards, scores, tournaments and your username. The game saved on your phone stays unless you delete the app.
The app is a family-friendly game. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Players never see each other's real names or contact details. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access rules on our database let each player read and change only their own private data.
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
